Guest will start their tour by exploring the open market in the heart of Corfu town, where local producers sell their products. From fresh fish and seafood to vegetables, fresh herbs, traditional sweets, and many local products. Continuing the tour towards San Rocco square, where the small Patounis soap factory. Operating since 1891, is one of the very few remaining traditional soap factories in the entire world and is listed with the Greek Ministry of Culture as a monument of industrial archeology. The owner will explain the process of traditional olive soap making at his historic factory. After the presentation guest will have a walking tour through the old town of Corfu, which is now member of the World Heritage List (UNESCO), until the Casa Parlante Museum. A 19th century noble mansion comes to life, in the unique architectural setting of a classical mansion in the historic old town of Corfu. Day Tour to Meteora

The trip will start from agreed pick up point. Will be driven to the port and embark on the ferry to Igoumenitsa. Upon arrival you will be driven to Kalambaka. It is a 160km drive (approx. 2 hours long) through Epiros on the Greek Mainland. The scenery is stunning with mountains, lakes, and forests. The Meteora are close to the town of Kalambaka. Meteora means “suspended in the air” and this collection of weathered rock pinnacles, believed to be about 60 million years old, has been the home of monks since 9th century. The oldest monasteries date back to the early 12th century. Today they are a UNESCO World Heritage listed site and a major attraction for both pilgrims and tourists. You will visit two of the monasteries accompanied by a professional guide. The journey ends with a traditional Epirotic restaurant, where you will try many local specialties. Whether you are a believer, a spiritual seeker, or a cultural traveller this trip is an unforgettable journey to a truly emotive place.
Guests will start their tour by exploring Corfu town, which is a member of the World Heritage List (UNESCO). Walking through the alleys of Corfu, they will find themselves in one of the most well-known areas of the old town, ¨Ovraiki¨ as Corfiots call it, the Jewish Quarter. It was in the 12th century, when the first testimony by the Spanish rabbi Benjamin Ben Yonah is written. During his visit to the island of Corfu, he met the Jewish priest named Joseph. Historians report that about 4000 Jews lived on the island, and in this district, they began to develop their religious life and businesses. Over the years, the Community has been rebuilt and recovered its familiar rhythms. Today, the Community with 65 members continues its course in the Greek space. A reconstruction is actual been done in the Synagogue where 500 years old Mikvah has been found. Guests will discover the once great Jewish Quarter.
Ovraiki, The Jewish Quarter
The tour will start from the beauty spot of Kanoni, where there will be time to take photographs of the famous Mouse Island and the small isle with the nunnery of The Holy Virgin of Vlacherena. Afterwards, the tour will continue with a visit to Paleokastritsa, a beautiful village, situated about 25 km from Corfu town, northwest of the island and on one of the most beautiful coastlines. It is here that archaeologists suspect the existence of the legendary castle of King Alkinoos, according to the Homeric mythology. The guest will visit the 13th century monastery of the Virgin Mary, built on a rock. Walking through small gardens and admiring the fascinating view of Paleokastritsa. The monastery is still inhabited by monks today. Then guests with their guide will embark to a small boat to some of the most impressive caves and the famous Blue Eye. After the boat trip guests will spent some free time exploring the village.
